Bellenmatras verlaagt weerstand op vloeistofchip Onderzoekers van het onderzoeksinstituut MESA+ van de Universiteit Twente hebben met een minuscule ‘vloeistofchip’ voor het laten zien hoe kleine gasbelletjes de wrijving met een stromende vloeistof beïnvloeden. PhD student wins prize at international conference ECCE 2013 Vic van Dijk won third prize with his poster presentation on the ninth European Congress of Chemical Engineering. For Vic‟s PhD research, he would like to functionalize the enormous internal surface of a polymeric filtration membrane.  Workshop Electronically-active Interfaces The workshop entitled “Electronically-active Interfaces" is organized for Ph.D.-students in materials research. Gradients are gradual transitions in specific properties, such as acidity.
