NanoforumEULA fact finding mission, Mexico, 24-30 August 2007

Costs: No participants fee will be charged. Participants only pay their own travel and subsistence. This amounts to the flight from Europe to Cancun and back from Mexico City to Europe, plus subsistence (hotels, food), plus ~€358 for the roundtrip inside Mexico. CONACYT has offered subsidising the flights inside Mexico for 25 participants. Register quickly if you want to be considered for this.

NanoforumEULA organises a fact-finding mission for European researchers and industrialists to nanotechnology research centres in Mexico, 24-30 August 2007, just after the XVI International Materials Research Congress in Cancun, Mexico. Aim of the fact finding mission is to show European industrialists and researchers excellent Mexican nanoscience and nanotechnology research and enable them to get to know and discuss collaborations with possible business partners. This can e.g. lay the basis for project proposals under the EU 7th Framework Programme for RTD (http://cordis.europa.eu/)

About NANOFORUMEULA

This Specific Support Action Nanoforum EU Latin America is funded by the European Union under the Sixth EU Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development; Nanotechnologies and Nanosciences, Knowledge Based Multifunctional Materials and New Production Processes and Devices (FP6, NMP). See http://cordis.europa.eu/nanotechnology. The project aims to foster lasting research relations between European research organisations and research organisations in Latin America specialising in nanotechnology. We subsidise exchange visits for some twenty Latin American researchers to four European research organisations specialising in nanotechnology. We organise two workshops and subsequent fact finding missions in Mexico and Brazil enabling European researchers and industrialists to identify opportunities for establishing working relations.
