MESA+ encourages members of staff to start up a spin-off by using the
results and know-how gained from the research. MESA+, by the way, is the birthplace of more than 50 spin-offs.
For the use of these results and know-how, MESA+ / the University of
Twente asks for recompense, e.g. in the form of shares in the spin-off. MESA+ offers its researchers support in
establishing a spin-off, in searching for suitable funding, in searching for
partners, and (if necessary) in engaging appropriate management.
