MEEM 11!! and the Double Degree Programme with the University of Padjadjaran in Indonesia (September 2009)

Start of MEEM 11 and the Double Degree Programme with the University of Padjadjaran in Indonesia is launched!

In August 31st 2009 the MEEM 11 programme began! a large group of 26 students from many different countries, including: Nepal, Indonesia, Palestine, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Colombia, Ecuador, USA, and others were welcomed by the MEEM management and CSTM Fryslan in Leeuwarden.

The Double Degree Programme with the University of Padjadjaran in Indonesia (Unpad), the Ecology Institute, was launched in the 2009/2010 academic year. The DD programme is the result of many years of cooperation between CSTM of the University of Twente and the Ecology Institute of Unpad, and now offers students the opportunity to graduate from both programmes: the Master of Environmental Science in Unpad and the MEEM in CSTM/University of Twente, and receive two diplomas from the two different universities. The MEEM 11 welcomed the first two Indonesian students to participate in the DD programme.
