MEEM/CSTM mini-symposium 2010/11

On February 10 2011 the MEEM/CSTM mini-symposium 2010/11 took place. MEEM students and PhD candidates from CSTM gave presentations on topics related to energy and environmental management and policy based on projects/programmes/research they were/are involved in.

As most MEEM students are mid-careers with relevant work experience, working for public agencies, ministries, NGO’s and international organizations in the energy and environmental fields, they bring with them invaluable knowledge and experience. This is considered a unique and valuable part of the programme and students are encouraged to share and exchange their knowledge with others. PhD candidates at CSTM work on various subjects in different regions of the world, all related to sustainable development.

The mini-symposium gave both the MEEM and PhD students the chance to presents and share their work in an academic yet friendly atmosphere.
