Martha Mushamiri from Zimbabwe

I joined the MBA in Environment and Energy Management at the University of Twente after working for a period of two years, during which I could not put environmental management into practice. This MBA taught me to be practical about environment management and how to implement Environmental Management Systems in a company, which I always thought to be impossible if the company is well established already. However, this programme gave me the opportunity to become a consultant and to be confident with what I do, and also to be able to do it well. Thus, this will help me to realise my dream of becoming a consultant to companies in my own country earlier than I expected.

The learning atmosphere at the institute is relaxed and conducive to understanding. Need I mention the way all the staff are so friendly, this made most students comfortable and not feel lonely and too far away from home.

I believe I could not have made a better choice of studying abroad than choosing Cartesius Institute of the University of Twente.
