General information |
Veronica Junjan (1974) completed her degrees in public administration (MPA, 2000) and sociology (PhD, 2006) in USA and Romania. Her PhD thesis investigated factors that influence decision making in local level governments in Romania, in the context of accession to the European Union. Her current research focuses on investigating mechanisms of public sector reform in Central and Eastern Europe within the EU governance processes and on governance of new social risks, particularly on consequences of circulatory migration on the provision of social services.
In addition to teaching and research at university level, she was involved in a wide range of consulting and research projects at national and international level in Eastern Europe. |
