The department of Operations, Organization and Human Resources (OOHR) consists of a growing, rejuvenating and ambitious group of people. Its aim is to combine excellent education in the disciplinary area’s of operations management, organization studies and human resource management with high standard research. Complex questions in the field of innovation management are being investigated in a multidisciplinary approach. Research is carried out mostly in a close national and international cooperation with other universities and companies

More specifically, its focus is on the structure, development and management of organizations, especially in innovative organizations in technological environments. This results in a focus on the dynamic fit between the organisation and its environment and on a strategic use of human and technological resources.
Starting points are, among others, modern contingency, stakeholder and supply chain management approaches and structuration perspectives. These starting points also determine the design and research methodology used within the department.
