WELCOME TO THE WEB-PAGE OF THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOLS ON “ENTREPRENEURSHIP &
TECHNOLOGY VENTURING” 2011

NIKOS organizes this first edition of two international summer schools on “Entrepreneurship & Technology Venturing” between 20^th of June until 1^st of July in Twente, the Netherlands.

20 June – 27 June: How to create a successful business?

(Aspiring) entrepreneurs will increase their knowledge on how to create or improve their business by means of interactive lectures, workshops, in-depth discussions and case-studies. The program is based on tried and tested development support activities of the University of Twente and NIKOS, and trainings from its currently most prominent incubator program VentureLab Twente.

27 June – 1 July: How to support entrepreneurship?

Workshops, networking possibilities, discussions and excursions to incubators and companies will show that entrepreneurship is supported from multiple angles and success is also dependent on contingencies with external parties. Business development support professionals can exchange best practices and discuss challenges, opportunities and developments in entrepreneurship support with colleagues from various parts of the world, with the aim of improving support systems.

Application is opened now. The deadline for handing in your application is May 1^st. Due to limited space to ensure possibility for close interaction, applicants will be informed about their selection on May 6^th the latest.
