Explanation: All four mechanisms operate concurrently and influence the outcomes of a social system in a structured, albeit not deterministic, way. Entrepreneurs develop positions using resources while interacting with others. By interacting, the entrepreneurs are more or less able to benefit from the capital, giving rise to recursive relations involving the direct use of capital and opportunities to benefit from the capital in another way in the future. The central hypothesis is that entrepreneurs working in network-embedded enterprises require sufficient capital relevant to each of the four dimensions in order to be able to create sustainable enterprises. This is what is known as the 4S Model.
