Annual_Inscope_conference_2011

The research group of Innovation & Entrepreneurship of IGS (Institute for Innovation and Governance Studies) of the University of Twente is since last year a partner in INSCOPE. Nikos the Netherlands Institute for Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship, forms a large part of this IGS research group and exists 10 years. In the week of the 10^th of the 10^th, 2011 we are celebrating this occasion and invite you to celebrate this with us on 12th of October at the INSCOPE annual conference on Social Innovation.

The contribution of Twente research to INSCOPE focuses on the role of technology based innovation and entrepreneurship in social innovation. On this topic we organize a panel discussion on the results of this research and the development of the research agenda.

As part of this annual conference, you can present your (working) papers. Furthermore, papers can be selected for publication is several special issues, such as Technovation, Management & Organisatie, and Creativity and Innovation Management.

* Steven Walsh, KvK/Civi professor on renewal of industry at Nikos, the Black Professor of Entrepreneurship at University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management, director of the Technology Entrepreneurship Program and co-director of the Management of Technology program;

* Jonathan Linton, Power corporation professor at Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, and chief editor of Technovation;

* Benson Honig, Professor of Organizational Behaviour, Teresa Cascioli Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership; DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University;

will discuss the research agenda.
