Chair information

The chair International Management (IM) originated from the Technology and Development Group (TDG). TDG originated from what was called the Vakgroep Ontwikkelings Kunde (VOK) in the ‘70s.

TDG was a combination of IM and Technology & Sustainable Development (TSD). After a formal split in 2004, the chair International Management continued under the leadership of Prof. Dr. E.J. de Bruijn, and is involved in education, research and international projects and advisory work. The section focuses on the management problems in the international context, with an emphasis on emerging economies.

Research

The Section International Management is involved in research, international projects, teaching and advisory work in the field of international business. Work within this Section is focused on the management problems that may occur because of the differences between western and non-western countries.
