Mission

In this section we research behavioral, design and managerial aspects of information and knowledge exchanges among people and organizations in different contexts. The main objective of the behavioral studies is empirically grounded business insights that have their consequences for the design and development of effective knowledge exchange processes and the selection of efficient means to support these processes.

The resulting information services are also studied during their life cycles to detect effective service management principles. The insights gained will result in information systems that really inform instead of systems that push information overloads to people. Important application fields are informative services on the Internet, management reporting systems, and commercial informing services.
