Information Systems and Change Management (ISCM)
In the past, information systems have been nearly equaled with databases, data-communication systems, and software systems. The University of Twente has extensive expertise in these areas in especially the faculty of EWI. The ISCM department is part of the faculty of Management and Governance and therefore focuses on the innovation of organizations and their business services by the application of these systems. The past has shown that substantial knowledge on the intersection of organizations, services and information systems is needed to make the exploitation of information systems a success. We offer teaching services in social science and technical science programs along our expertise domain, and we execute research and do consulting with many organizations on this area with the framework of our IT enablement of Services for the Networked World (IS4NOW) research plan.
