Yanyan Xue, Research associate

Current Research

Xue Yanyan is conducting her PhD research project in CSTM since September 2005. The research topic is ‘’negotiated agreement and its application in China’. She is attempting to analyze the factors determining the choice and the effectiveness of the ‘new’ instrument in the countries of EU, USA, Japan and other developing countries from two perspectives: an institutional level and an instrumental level, and further narrowing to case level which is to examine its deployment in China’s environmental governance system. She is doing this research on her part time for personal interest, while she mainly locates in Beijing as a consultant and manager in the international cooperation environmental projects.
