Dr Kris R.D. Lulofs (1962) graduated in Public Administration and Public Policy at the University of Twente. His PhD was on environmental policy implementation in networks. As a senior research associate at CSTM he specializes in policy strategies, instrumentation and governance, especially in the fields of corporate social responsibility, climate change and water management. He has been researcher and project leader of numerous externally funded projects, including projects funded by EU research frameworks, Dutch national science foundation, Dutch ministries, provinces, water boards and international and national knowledge institutes. He teaches in undergraduate and postgraduate courses and offers training programs on topics such as policy analysis, policy evaluation and interactive governance to practitioners. He has (co-)edited several books and published a large number of articles, book chapters and reports. He is coordinator of the Sustainability track of the Public Administration Master. At this moment leads the governance track in the Ecoshape-Building with Nature program. In addition to his research and teaching, Kris has been secretary of the Dutch Political Science Association and CSTM-coordinator for international cooperation on environmental MBA programmes. He participates in the Twente Water Centre and is a senior member of the Netherlands Institute of Government.
