G-Fors

The G-FORS STREP develops and tests an innovative analytical model for the study of governance for sustainability, focusing on the synergy between new governance modes and different forms of knowledge, taking into account the rapid changes in the knowledge society. The G-FORS model identifies a range of different forms of knowledge and analyses how these different forms interact in a context of particular governance arrangements. The aim of the analyses is to find out how different governance contexts produce ‘reflexive knowledge’ on sustainability and to contribute to a more legitimate understanding of sustainability.
