Short course ''Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility and leadership'' as part of collaboration between CSTM and OOHR

CSTM -OOHR collaboration through the short course “Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility and leadership” to students of Master’s of Business Administration’s of Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico

32 managers of companies based in Mexico City who are enrolled to the executive Master’s programme of Business Administration in “Tecnologico de Monterrey” participated in the tailored course of “Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Leadership”. The course was held in the week of 29th August to 1st September 2011 as part of the collaboration between CSTM and Tecnologico de Monterrey. It is directed by dr. Laura Franco-Garcia (CSTM) and dr. Juan Sherwell, Dean of the School of Business Administration of Tecnologico de Monterrey. This programme took place for the second time in Enschede at the University of Twente facilities and there are plans to hold the course in a yearly bases and to extend it to other Tecnologico of Monterrey campi in Mexico and elsewhere.

The programme was taught by Prof. Olaf Fisscher (OOHR), dr. ir. Theo de Bruijn (CSTM) and drs. Amaranta Karssiens who presented their research work related to the course topics. Besides, they had some company visits in the Twente region. On regard to the participants’ feedback and as for the first time, the course evaluation was very positive and they left Twente gaining new visions about responsibly and sustainably ways of making business.
