Aquameth

Aquameth stands for Advanced Quantitative Methods for the Evaluation of the performance of public sector research. Phase 2 of this project is funded by the PRIME Network of Excellence, created within the 6^th EU Framework Programme. Now in its second phase, the project aims at:

1.	collecting data at the level of the individual university across a number of European countries and prepare the data for integrated cross-country comparisons;

2.	carrying out econometric analyses, using both parametric and nonparametric techniques for the analysis of efficiency and productivity in university production.

CHEPS has joined the project to work on the Dutch dataset, and with existing project partners to work on:

3.	the exploration of new topics including:

a.	Regional differences in university efficiency and productivity between and within European countries

b.	Quality indicators of teaching and research activities

c.	Third mission indicators

d.	Subject mix at the level of universities
