This portal provides (potential) Ph.D. students at CHEPS with all kinds of information, relevant for applying for a Ph.D. position at CHEPS, for starting a dissertation and also for when you are in the process of becoming a Ph.D. at CHEPS.
It is part of CHEPS’s mission to train Ph.D. students in the field of higher education research. CHEPS aims to provide its Ph.D. students with a stimulating environment in order for them to become broadly educated participants in higher education research and policy-making. This portal details what you can expect from CHEPS, such as regular and frequent supervision by two senior CHEPS staff members, library support, etc. And what CHEPS expects from you, such as participating in course-work, readings, but as a rule also a partly refundable fee, etc.
