Minor “Niederlande-Deutschland Studien”

This Minor aims at students who want to specialize in the bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Germany. The Minor Programme is build around three themes:

A comparative analysis of the Netherlands and Germany from historical, political, economic, geographical and cultural perspectives.

·

The mutual relations between Germany and the Netherlands.

·

The Dutch and German languages.

Every semester the Zentrum für Niederlande-Studien offers a wide and variable package of courses. Students can select an individual programme out of this offer.

Structure

In preparation for this Minor it is possible to take the following courses during the basic years:

Basics of German/ Basics of Dutch

·

The political systems in The Netherlands and in Germany

Obligatory (in total 20 EC):

Lecture (6 EC):

One lecture about Dutch-German relations.

Language course (4 EC):

Advanced level courses (10 EC):

The minor is provided by the Niederlande-Zentrum of the University of Münster:
