Minor “Niederlande-Deutschland Studien”

This Minor aims at students who want to specialize in the bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Germany. The Minor Programme is build around three themes:

·	A comparative analysis of the Netherlands and Germany from historical, political, economic, geographical and cultural perspectives.

·	The mutual relations between Germany and the Netherlands.

·	The Dutch and German languages.

Every semester the Zentrum für Niederlande-Studien offers a wide and variable package of courses. Students can select an individual programme out of this offer.

Structure

Optional:

In preparation for this Minor it is possible to take the following courses during the basic years:

·	Basics of German/ Basics of Dutch

·	The political systems in The Netherlands and in Germany

Obligatory (in total 20 EC):

Lecture (6 EC):

One lecture about Dutch-German relations.

Language course (4 EC):

Advanced level courses (10 EC):

The minor is provided by the Niederlande-Zentrum of the University of Münster:
