Programme

The programme develops your expertise in three distinct modules. Each module will be completed by an examination. If you pass this examination you get a certificate, which allows you to enrol in the next module. After having passed all three examinations you will be awarded the MBA diploma issued by the University of Twente.

Module 1

This module introduces you to the basics of business management. At the end of this module you have a full understanding of the basic knowledge of the main topics in business management. Besides you are trained in communication skills in the English language and how to behave in an international environment.

Module 2

The objective of this module is to teach you to recognize important developments in business environments, to analyse these developments and to connect these to new technological applications, knowledge and instruments. You develop skills to design your own business problem-solving project and to acquire information from libraries and electronically available knowledge bases. Next you will get a better understanding of your own behaviour and of others’ in order to be able to lead and motivate people in processes of organizational change. Part of this module is factory visits at different companies in Europe.

Module 3

In this module you will carry out a business assignment in a company as desired. At the end of this module you will be able to analyse a complex management problem in a real situation. Besides you have the skills to initiate a process of organizational change in order to resolve that management problem.
