The module strategic management is targeted at (aspiring) managers and entrepreneurs who want to develop or enhance their strategic management knowledge and skills. The module is specifically targeted at those (aspiring) managers and entrepreneurs that are involved in setting up a new independent or corporate venture or will be in the near future.
Participants of this module learn about the strategic aspects of setting up an independent or corporate, technology-based venture. Topics covered in this module include:

In various interactive training sessions participants are familiarized with central strategic management concepts and theories around these topics. Furthermore, in all sessions, participants will apply these to their own organization in order to make them immediately useful.
After completion of this module, participants will be better aware of the various strategic issues and challenges associated with setting up a new venture. Furthermore, they will be better equipped to deal with these issues and challenges and to successfully develop a strategy for their venture.
