Career opportunities

Business communities throughout the world have an inexhaustible need for applied communication specialists. After all, communication takes place wherever there are people. CS graduates are prepared for a career in a wide range of areas. The doors are always open for people who understand effective communication.

In both the commercial and non-profit sectors, the number of people placed in charge of internal and external communications is growing. This work particularly involves such fields as public relations, market research, advice and effective information provision (sometimes with the assistance of ICT). The specialisations of the CS Master's degree course effectively address both these areas.

The media sector also needs communication specialists, particularly those offering expertise in the area of new media (e.g. the Internet, e-commerce and mobile telephony). Naturally, Communication Studies graduates can also work at firms offering specialist information and consultancy services. These companies are frequently called upon by government and companies for short-term projects. In this field, there is also a need for specialists who can conduct research and design solutions to concrete problems.
