Who: Dutch HBO students or students from an university other than the University of Twente.

Note: If you are already a student at the University of Twente, than you can follow a lecture in the masterprogramme of your choice on your own.

Have you already visited our Open Day? Do you want to know how real student life at the University of Twente looks like? Then you can sign up for Student-for-a-day.

During such a day you can experience what it is to study and live at the university. You will be hosted and guided by a current university of Twente student, and together with him/her you will attend classes. Your assigned host will contact you to set a date.

Planning student-for-a-day

Using the form below you sign up for Student-for-a-day. After registration, your host (a UT student) will contact you to schedule a date.

Note: During a Student-for-a-day day you will actually participate in classes. Therefore a Student-for-a-day day cannot be scheduled during holidays or exam periods.

Open day or Student-for-a-day

When visiting an Open Day you get a first impression of our master’s degree programmes. You get information about the contents of the programme, the application and admission procedures, and your career perspectives.

During a Student-for-a-day you experience how it is to be a student at the University of Twente. You feel the atmosphere of the learning climate, and (since you will take part in lectures) you will participate in the daily routines of a student. Student-for-a-day complements your visit to an Open Day, but you cannot see this as a replacement.
