European Credits

The European Credit (EC) is the unit of study load in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

One curriculum year consists of 60 EC. In the Netherlands, one EC corresponds to 28 hours of study load, so one curriculum year has a nominal study load of 1680 hours.
