The study tour takes approximately three weeks and therefore this minor inevitably affects your study planning, especially when you decide to continue travelling after the study tour itself ends. Taking this minor is optimized by customized planning in close consultation with the organizing study tour committee. Moreover, following courses is facilitated by the guided self-study nature of several components of the minor’s courses.

·

Due to the necessary 3 month stay abroad the internship variant will influence your planning heavily. In consultation, we optimize the planning, among others by providing tailor-made trajectories regarding the content of the internship and the timing of the preparation and execution of the stay abroad. A combination of the internship with the Bachelor-assignment is possible if the study grants this. Since the stay abroad will be extended if you combine the internship with the Bachelor-assignment you will have to pay special attention to your planning. Consultation with the study coordinator of your own study is therefore necessary.

SHORT DESCRIPTION OF CONTENT:

The educational goal of this minor is to contribute to the international orientation of UT students. Participants analyse the differences between the Netherlands and the destination country in terms of current situation and major historical developments. Also, cross country comparisons will be made within the scope of each specific international project (whether this be a study tour or an internship).
