More information on minors in OSIRIS

The on-line registration for minors through OSIRIS is intended for UT Bachelor students with the obligation to complete a minor. For those students: registering for a minor

·

is obligatory,

·

is possible only during the registration period above and

·

is only possible through OSIRIS.

Please note the following details.

·

If you have already started a minor, but will not complete it during the academic year 2012-2013, it is not necessary to register again. Please update your minor coordinator regularly on your progress and plans to complete your minor.

·

If you have registered for a minor previously, but have never started the minor, you will have to register again.

·

If you wish to take and complete a different minor than the one you are presently registered for, you will have to register again.

For all other students who are interested in a minor at the University of Twente, the following rules apply.

·

All other UT students (UT master students, UT bachelor students who wish to take a second minor, UT bachelor students without an obligation to complete a minor, etc.), please contact the general Major-minor coordinator by e-mail. In your message, please state your name, student number and the study in which youy wish to incorporate your minor.

·

All interested parties from outside the University of Twente can register for a selection of 18 of the 27 institutionalised minors (in Dutch) through "Kies Op Maat" (in Dutch). The remaining 9 minors are not open to students from outside UT, but interested parties are free to contact the institutions which offer the minors Human Factors & System Safety, and Music with a request to enter the minor. In those cases, registration (and payment) will take place without any intervention of the University of Twente.
