Organisation

The organisation of Major-minor at the University of Twente is based on the trias-politicamodel.

·	Regulation of all matters concerning minors is the responsibility of the "Universitaire Commissie Onderwijs" (UCO). Thereby, UCO is the 'legislative power' for minors. Until February 2004, the "Stuurgroep Major-minor" (in Dutch) was in charge of these matters.

·	The 'judicial power' for minors is the "Validatie- / Accreditatiecommissie Major-minor" (VAC, in Dutch).

The actual execution of all activities concerning minors (the 'executive power') is in the hands of all parties that contribute to Major-minor: minor coordinators, directors of education, study coordinators, student counsellors, time-table developers, etc. under supervision of the general Major-minor coordinator.
