Minor information market 2013

This year too, there will be a minor information market to help all students to select a minor, to answer their questions and to introduce them to the coordinators of the minors.

Date, time and location

The minor information market 2013 will be held on Thursday, April 25th, 2013, 10:30 - 15:30 h in room "Audiozaal" and the foyer of the Vrijhof building.

The minor information market is open to all interested parties. There is no need to register for your visit.

Program outline

During the minor information market, there will be stands in room "Audiozaal" and the foyer of the Vrijhof building of all institutionalised minors available in the academic year 2013-2014. At all stands, you can meet the coordinators of all minors and ask all questions about the minor(s) of your preference.

In the Agora theatre of the Vrijhof building there will be two general presentations in Dutch about minors and all organisational details involved. There will be a third presentation in English in the Amphi Theatre. Apart from the language, the three presentations will be identical. One visit will be enough, but make sure you attend this presentation!

Close to the reception desk of the Vrijhof building, there will be a general desk for all remaining questions concerning minors.

Tip 1

During the two general presentations at the Agora or Amphi Theatre that you will not attend, it will not be very crowded in the stands area. This will give you the opportunity for an extensive contact with the minor(s) of your choice!

Tip 2

The minor information market will be held only once a year. Do not miss it and do not leave the market without the answers to all your questions about minors!

Detailed program

The three general presentations at the Agora and Amphi Theatres in the Vrijhof building will have the following timetable.

First presentation of general information on minors (in Dutch):

·	11:00 - 11:05 uur: Opening door prof.dr. H. Brinksma (Rector Magnificus).

·	11:05 - 11:30 uur: Uitleg over minors door de centrale coördinator Major-minor.

·	11:30 - 11:35 uur: Studentperspectief op minors door Thomas Hommes, portefeuillehouder Academische Vorming van de Student Union.

·	11:35 - 11:40 uur: Praktische mededelingen over de minorvoorlichtingsmarkt.

Second presentation of general information on minors (in Dutch):

·	12:45 - 13:10 uur: Uitleg over minors door de centrale coördinator Major-minor.

·	13:10 - 13:15 uur: Studentperspectief op minors door Thomas Hommes, portefeuillehouder Academische Vorming van de Student Union.

·	13:15 - 13:20 uur: Praktische mededelingen over de minorvoorlichtingsmarkt.

Third presentation of general information on minors (in English):

·	14:00 - 14:25 h: Explanation about minors by the general Major-minor coordinator.

·	14:25 - 14:30 h: A student's perspective on minors by Thomas Hommes, Board Member of the Student Union, portfolio Academic Skills & Entrepreneurship.

·	14:30 - 14:35 h: General announcements on the minor information market.
