Types of Furnished Accommodation

The following housing facilities are managed by the UT International Office. More information with regard to accommodation off and on campus (e.g. rent prices, facilities, location) will be provided by International Office through email once your online housing application has been received.

UT CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION

International Office manages some 300 rooms on the UT campus. All UT campus rooms are private but in most cases students share bathroom and/or kitchen facilites. Rooms with private bathroom/kitchen facilities are limited and rent prices are higher.

Rent prices for UT campus accommodation vary from €300 to €450 per month. Electricity, water, gas, and internet connection are included in the rent prices. All campus accommodations are furnished. Every room contains a bed (including mattress, sheets, duvet cover, pillow, and pillow case), closet, desk, desk light, desk chair and waste basket. The kitchen is fully equipped, including utensils, plates, cookware, and a fridge. 1-room apartments contain a private fridge and television.

Note: International Office strives to offer accommodation based on your preferences. However, it may not always be possible to grant your first choice of accommodation due to limited availability.

Residential Towers & Stadsweide Apartments

The renovated  and modern Residential Towers and Stadsweide Apartments are located in the bustling city center of Enschede, about 20 minutes by bike or public transport from the UT campus. Shops, market, post-office and railway station are within walking distance. These comfortable living spaces include many extras like television, land -line telephone, safe, fan, toiletries upon arrival (e.g. shower gel, shampoo), private refrigerator and internet connection (optional).

The unique Stadsweide Apartments feature (1) fully-furnished, spacious apartments with optimal privacy, (2) private bedrooms (3) kitchen, bathroom and balcony shared with one or two other students. The exquisite Residential Towers offer (1) fully-furnished bedrooms with living space, (2) private balcony and bathroom and (3) shared kitchen facilities.

Rent prices for the Residential Towers and Stadsweide Building are €450 per month. Renting a room in the Stadsweide Apartment Building or the Residential Towers includes exclusive access to all available hotel facilities like 24/7 reception service, weekly linen changes, weekly room cleaning service and laundry service. For a small additional charge, breakfast service is also included.
