Conditions
The minimum period for renting accommodation through the IO/Housing is 1 month. The maximum period is two years. The starting date of a contract is always on the 1st or 16th of the month and the ending date is always on the 15th or last day of the month. The International Office/Housing can only assist in finding accommodation for the period that you applied for. Therefore, please make sure that you provide the IO/Housing with the correct period for which you require accommodation. Master students should inform the IO/Housing whether they are enrolling in a 1 or 2 year Master program.
When you sign a rental contract, you are bound to the terms of the contract and you agree with the rights and obligations that are stated in the contract. Early departure from the room does not dismiss you from the payment obligations for the entire period as stated in the contract.
Please note: If you wish to receive a new Short Stay contract, you are expected to inform the International Office/Housing 2 months before the previous contract expires. You will only receive a new contract if the accommodation is still available. You will have to pay administration costs (20 euros) for all new contracts.
