Health Services on Campus

Health Services on Campus The University of Twente offers general medical services on campus, including emergency service, a general practitioner, dentist and physiotherapist. Please keep in mind the following general regulations regarding health services in the Netherlands:

·	Referrals to visit specialised medical services at a general hospital are given at appointments with a general practitioner/doctor only. Specialised medical services include surgeons, eye specialists, ENT doctors, gynaecologists and orthopaedists.

·	Prescription drugs can only be provided through a pharmacy if you have a prescription from a doctor/general practitioner in the Netherlands. These prescriptions are only provided during appointments with a general practitioner.
