Green Energy Initiative

The Green Energy Initiative of the University of Twente is meant to strengthen collaboration between the various scientific disciplines in renewable energy research at the University of Twente, united in the research institutes CTIT, MESA+ and IGS. IGS covers the human touch in green energy research and education. Innovative energy technologies not autonomously match economic routines and habits in society. Very often the behavioural, organisational or governance aspects are critical for successful implementation of technological innovations. Therefore it is important that scientists from the various technical and social science disciplines work together on technological breakthroughs and their successful implementation.
