INVITATION LECTURE PAUL PAULUS

25th of October

The Institute of Innovation and Governance (IGS) has the pleasure to invite all of you to a lecture by:

Professor Paul B. Paulus

University Professor in Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Entitled:

The Creative Group Mind:  A Basis for Team and Organizational Innovation?

Much creativity and innovation involves collaboration with others either in pairs or groups.  Research on collaborative creativity has provided insights into the factors that hinder or enhance the creative process in groups.  This research has provided a foundation for understanding how the “group mind” can lead to creative synergy. I will highlight the potential implications of this research for innovation in work teams and organizations.

Date: Thursday the 25th of October 2012

Time: 16.00 hrs

Place Room B-209 in the Cubicus Building

This lecture will be introduced by Prof. dr. Karen I van Oudenhoven-van der Zee, who has been working together with prof. Paulus doing research on the relation between diversity and creativity.

After the lecture there is a drinks reception at the canteen of the Cubicus building.

If you want to attend the lecture by professor Paulus, you can sign up here.
