Welcome to iCRiSP
Issues of conflict, risk and safety get more and more attention in society. Founded in 2009, the research centre for Conflict, Risk and Safety Perception iCRiSP focuses on the implementation of knowledge from social and behavioural sciences regarding issues of conflict, risk and safety in public and private sectors of society.
FOCUS
iCRiSP focuses on three activities aimed at promoting the further understanding of how to manage issues of conflict, risk and safety.
- First, iCRiSP maintains the iCRiSP International Network for researchers working in this domain. iCRiSP members present their research interests and their publications.
- Second, iCRiSP serves as a centre for documentation and expertise in the domain of societal issues of conflict, risk and safety by providing access to academic knowledge. This site provides information on ongoing research, current and past publications, and upcoming events.
- Third, iCRiSP focuses on valorisation of the results of social and behavioural research in its domain of conflict, risk and safety perception. Valorisation is defined by iCRiSP as the promotion of the sustainable implementation of study results by private and public actors in society.
