Short Description: |
The European Union wants to optimize the mobility and safety of European patients in the form of adequate cross-border healthcare. Differences in quality between cross-border health care remain problematic however. The EurSafety Health-net project has as goal to improve cross-border cooperation and to reduce healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs) with an extra attention to multi-resistant pathogens. To achieve this goal, we co-create with all relevant stakeholders a Health-net, a multidisciplinary Internet-based platform, to facilitate this cooperation by allowing professionals to communicate and share infection related information. This platform will be designed by researching and identifying the necessary evidence based (expert) content, and also the indispensible practice driven structure in order to present this content. Within the project we use a Human-Centred Design approach for the content and structure of information, and a ‘Stakeholder-Centred Implementation’-approach that is Business Modelling. With both these approaches combined as a roadmap for an eHealth innovation we will iteratively create and improve a website prototype into a fitting, user-tailored Internet-based platform with a fitting, stakeholder-tailored implementation. |
