Telephone and PDA manuals
For the use of smartphones we have collected a section of tutorials and tips. Hopefully this will help you with your own Smartphone or PDA to use for example the wireless network of the UT (eduroam) and to synchronize your UT e-mail, contacts and calendar.
For employees
As an employee of the University of Twente you can request a mobile phone from your faculty or service. This phone will respond to both an internal 4 digit number and a regular 06- number. You will be able to access the internet, your UT e-mail and address book if your phone supports it.

In January 2010, a joint venture was entered into with T-Mobile. The choice for T-mobile was made on the basis of the high demands that the 3TU imposes on the coverage of the mobile network.
