Financial Criteria
Demonstrating sufficient financial means is compulsory
Everyone travelling to the Netherlands and staying here must demonstrate that he/she has sufficient financial means to finance his/her stay. Each application (MVV/VVR) will therefore also be assessed on sufficient financial means. If the financial means requirement is not met, the application will CERTAINLY be rejected.
Financial criteria stay - IND
The level of the amounts is assessed against the substance level (the minimum wage) and also depends on the purpose of the stay (e.g. study or work) and whether or not the family is also taken along. On the IND site you can find a list of these financial criteria.
