Tuberculosis examination
If a foreigner wishes to stay in the Netherlands for a period of longer than 3 months, he will be examined in the Netherlands on tuberculosis. If a foreigner originates from one of the following countries, he will not have to be examined on tuberculosis:

The original form for the TBC examination is part of the application for a residence permit. After signing the form by the person involved a copy is to be attached to the application. The original is to be provided to the person involved who is to bring it along to the GGD for the TBC examination.
Subsequently, after the examination the GGD will send the form to the IND in order to settle the application for a residence permit.
Please note: the TBC examination is required for granting a residence permit.
For this TBC examination every working day you can call to make an appointment with the GGD Twente region, from 9 am to 12 noon and between 1 pm and 4.30 pm.
The surgery hours for a lung X-ray are: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 am and 12 noon.
