Insurances

The University of Twente has taken out a number of insurance policies for its staff (some of which are also applicable to students). Below, we will only provide an outline of these insurance policies. There are, for example, several restrictions and the insurance will only provide additional cover in a limited number of cases. Therefore we advise you to make inquiries about the insurance in all cases where damage is sustained. Sometimes the University of Twente has not taken out insurance with an insurer, but is to provide cover itself. Information on this subject can be obtained from your Personnel adviser or the Financial and Economic Departments (FEZ).
