The Social Fund OCW (SFOCW)
The Social Fund OCW (SFOCW) offers financial support to its participants who have run into trouble. The fund may act as a safety net for people who are in danger of falling between two stools. Their money problems may be the result of illness, family circumstances or the consequences of an accident. People may also be facing problems because they have debts and are unable to find a solution themselves. There may be scores of causes for people to run into problems from one day to the other, sometimes even ending up in a dead-end situation. Participants can only call on the fund if there are no other bodies or schemes they can use.
The fund adopts a strictly confidential attitude. The board of the fund decides whether or not the help requested can be given. Most of the time, the help will be in the form of a non-interest bearing loan. The board may also decide to make a donation at no consideration. Sometimes a percentage of certain expenses – for example family care – is paid for by the fund. Any requests for support are to be accompanied by an advice from a company welfare worker.
You can make an appointment with our company welfare worker Mr K. Dreischerf. He can be found at the Working Conditions department (Arbodienst) Drienerlo. You can call to make an appointment with him via the secretariat, ext. 053-4898030 or send an email to k.j.dreischerf@arbodienstdrienerlo.nl.
You can call on SFOCW if you are a participant of this fund. As a member, you will pay a minimum of € 0.90 per month via an automatic deduction on your salary. Click here for the application form.
