Elderly Staff Members Scheme UT 2005

seniorenregeling

The Senior Staff Scheme UT 2005, among other things, offers staff members from the age of 57 the possibility of working one day or half-day less per week.

The scheme is funded by the so-called decentralized employment conditions funds and is applicable until 1 March 2010.

Because the UT’s revenues have decreased substantially and are expected to drop even further, the Executive Board has recently decided that it will not continue the scheme. If you started using the scheme before 1 March of this year, nothing will change for you. All rights under the scheme will remain applicable to you.

Naturally, from 1 March staff members can still use the Senior Staff Scheme 2006 which has been included in the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) Dutch Universities. However, this scheme applies to staff member from the age of 59 and onwards.

For more information about this scheme you can contact your Personnel adviser.
