Leave in connection to public function
Your faculty or service department can grant you leave with retention of salary for attending meetings and hearings if you are a member of the Provincial Executive, the Provincial Council, the Municipal Council, as an alderman et cetera. If pursuant to your public-law position you receive a fixed fee, this will be set off against your salary for the hours over which leave is granted.
