Age indication: 55 years and older

You are in the final phase of your career and want to use your expertise and (life) experience in a useful way.

Wednesday 10 October (9.30 – 17.00) and Wednesday 31 October (9.30 – 13.00)

Costs

Participation in this workshop is free of charge for UT staff.

Group size

Minimum of 6 and maximum of 9 participants per group.

Supervision

The workshop is led by Mieke Verbaarschot, senior trainer and advisor.

Preparation and literature

If desired, participants can make use of the on-line Loopbaanscan (Career Scan). You will receive the log-on after signing up for participation. Completing this scan takes about 1.5 hours. Other assignments and literature will be handed out during the workshop.

You strengthen your insight into yourself and your view of how to continue delivering added value to the organisation whilst performing your tasks in an enjoyable, vital way.

Subjects

Your talents and specific added value will be discussed. You will understand what is important to you. You will evaluate the desired place of work in your life, clarifying what enjoying work means to you.

Method

On the basis of a variety of assignments you will map out your specific talents, drives and criteria for enjoying your work. By working with metaphors among other things, the sources you are less aware of, will be tapped. Feedback and interaction with other participants add to create insight. There is also room (on an individual basis) to translate what you have learned to your work and career.

The workshop consists of 1 full day and 1 half-day.
