For Dutch speaking WP and OBP in management positions or who are regularly involved in projects.

Thursday 15 and Friday 16 November, 9.00 till 17.00 hrs.

Costs

Participation in this workshop is free of charge for UT staff.

For participation to all courses you must have permission from your head of department.

Group size

Maximum of 10 participants.

Supervision

The course is led by Jan Pieter Weening, an experienced trainer, for example at Groningen University, van Weening Consult en Training.

This course will only be conducted in Dutch

Result

You will be able to design a clear and feasible project planning, taking into account the forces at play regarding projects. The fundamentals of Project Management will be clear to you. You will understand the team roles within projects, and will be able to communicate effectively and clearly with your principal. Based on your own projects, you will have experienced what works and what does not in the (university) practice.

Subjects

Method

The training consists of several elements: short presentations, exercises, discussions and many agreeable as well as confronting interactions. The programme offers every opportunity to work at any questions you wish to work on and to put forward cases that you have experienced. The dynamics are found in working in large and small groups and, by ‘learning by doing’ and by making, centrally, a link with the basics of Project Management.
