Academic staff (including PhD’s and postdocs) who want to learn how to give professional and appealing presentations on a variety of subjects. |

Result |
The course focuses on the preparation and delivery of presentations and aims to enhance both preparation and actual performance of presentations. You are able to confidently and effectively deliver a presentation that is attractive to the target group. Your presentations will be recorded on video |

Subjects |
Some theory and lots of practice and (peer) feedback. Tips and tricks will be provided, on stress management, structuring presentations, adjusting the presentation to the audience, use of the media, presentation styles like pose and movement, gestures and use of voice. |

Duration and time investment |
Approx. 20 hours, containing 12 hours of contact time (three half days) and 8 hours of preparation. |
