We offer various opportunities for staff professional development. We offer a large range of courses, training programmes, workshops and various forms of counselling and coaching. These are aimed at increasing the skills, knowledge and insight of our staff members and management, and in some cases also our students.

The courses we offer can be distinguished into five themes:

·	Leadership and management

·	Personal development and effectiveness

·	Professional education

·	Performing and supervising research

·	Communication and language (international)

Depending on the demand, external providers of these courses and workshops will be hired. We also have a lot of in-house expertise. The Educational Service Department provides support for the development of professional knowledge and skills of staff and students involved in devising, planning and providing education. The Language Coordination Point offers support in acquiring professional language and communication skills for staff and students.
