Expertise

Peter ten Klooster is in 2002 afgestudeerd aan de opleiding Toegepaste Communicatiewetenschap van de Universiteit Twente. Enkele maanden na zijn afstuderen in 2002, startte hij bij de afdeling Communicatiewetenschap van deze universiteit als onderzoeksmedewerker. In 2004 startte hij met een promotietraject op het gebied van het meten van gezondheid met behulp van zelfgerapporteerde vragenlijsten. In juni 2008 promoveerde hij op het proefschrift “Interpreting patient-reported outcomes in rheumatology.” Zijn onderzoeksinteresse ligt vooral op het gebied van (moderne) psychometrische technieken, het meten van gezondheid en “het patiënten-perspectief” met name met betrekking tot reumatische aandoeningen.
