Expertise

Annemarie Braakman heeft Gezondheidswetenschappen (Bewegingswetenschappen en Gezondheidsvoorlichting & –opvoeding) gestudeerd in Maastricht. Vervolgens heeft ze bij het Jan van Breemen Instituut en de Vrije Universiteit te Amsterdam een epidemiologisch prospectief promotieonderzoek uitgevoerd naar indicatoren voor een slechte prognose bij nieuwe patiënten met polyartritis. Hierna heeft ze als senior beleidsmedewerker farmaco-economie bij het College voor zorgverzekeringen (CVZ) expertise opgebouwd in de evaluatie van doelmatigheidsonderzoek. Sinds 2006 is ze als universitair docent bij de afdeling Communicatiewetenschap van de Universiteit Twente werkzaam voor de leerstoel reumatologie en samenleving.

Onderzoeksprojecten

·	DREAM: Doelmatigheid in de klinische praktijk van rituximab (Mabthera®) bij patiënten met reumatoide artritis (RA) die een inadequate respons hebben op minimaal één anti-TNFa therapie (in samenwerking met Universiteit Nijmegen; co-financiëring Roche Nederland B.V.).
